Al-Kāfi - The Book of Dresses, Beautification and Kindness ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عُثْ٠َانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ سَ٠َاعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْوِسَادَةِ وَ الْبِسَاطِ يَكُونُ فِيهِ التَّ٠َاثِيلُ فَقَالَ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ يَكُونُ فِي الْبَيْتِ قُلْتُ التَّ٠َاثِيلُ فَقَالَ كُلُّ شَيْ‏ءٍ يُوطَأُ فَلَا بَأْسَ بِهِ.

He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful if it is in the house.’ He (the Imam) then said, ‘Anything with pictures which is used under the feet is not harmful.’” وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/439))
