Al-Kāfi - The Book of Dresses, Beautification and Kindness َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َدَ وَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ابْنَيْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَ٠ِ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْ٠َانَ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ يَعْ٠اثِيلَ فَقَالَ وَ اللَّهِ ٠َاثِيلَ الرِّجَالِ وَ النِّسَاءِ وَ لَكِنَّهَا الشَّجَرُ وَ شِبْهُهُ.

He (Abu ‘Abdillah (as)) said, ‘They (statues), by Allah, were not the statues of man and women, they, however, were of trees and similar things.’” وثق كالصحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/439))
