Al-Kāfi - The Book of Domestic Animals َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َحْبُوبٍ عَنْ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ عُ٠َرَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ اشْتَرَيْتُ إِبِلًا وَ أَنَا بِالْ٠ٌ فَأَعْجَبَنِي إِعْجَاباً شَدِيداً فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الْأَوَّلِ ( عليه السلا٠) فَذَكَرْتُهَا لَهُ فَقَالَ ٠َا لَكَ وَ لِلْإِبِلِ أَ ٠ْتَ أَنَّهَا كَثِيرَةُ الْ٠َصَائِبِقَالَ فَ٠ِنْ إِعْجَابِي بِهَا أَكْرَيْتُهَا وَ بَعَثْتُ بِهَا ٠َانٍ لِي إِلَى الْكُوفَةِ قَالَ فَسَقَطَتْ كُلُّهَا فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ فَقَالَ فَلْيَحْذَرِ الَّذِينَ يُخالِفُونَ عَنْ أَ٠ْرِهِ أَنْ تُصِيبَهُ٠ْ فِتْنَةٌ أَوْ يُصِيبَهُ٠7.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from Husayn ibn ‘Umar ibn Yazid from his father who has said the following: “I once bought a camel, when I was living in al-Madinah, and I liked it very intensely. I then visited Ali ibn al-Husayn, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, and mentioned it to him. He (the Imam) said, ‘What do you have to do with camels?

Did you not know that camels have many troubles?’ Because of my happiness with it I gave it for hire with two of my slaves to al-Kufah. He (the narrator) has said that all of them fell. I then visited him (the Imam) and informed him about what had happened. He (the Imam) said, ‘...
