Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu â Umayr from Hafs ibn al-Bakhtariy who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said, âThe real free pigeon remaining is the pigeon that belonged to Tsmaâil ibn Ibrahim, âAlayhima al-Salam, who kept it for comfort.
Abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said, âIt is preferable to keep a bird with clipped wings for comfort and for (to dispel) fear from vermin.ââ ØØ³Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (2/467))
