It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from his father from certain persons of our people who has said the following: âOnce, pigeons were mentioned before abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), and a man said, âIt has come to my knowledge that once âUmar saw a pigeon flying and a man underneath was running.
âUmar then said, âOne Satan runs under another Satan.â Abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), then said, â(It is because) Tsmaâil was not there with you.â Someone then asked, âWas he (Tsmaâil) a friend (of pigeons)?â He (the Imam) said, âThe pigeons of al-Haram (the sacred area) are of the remaining pigeons of Tsmaâil.ââ رس٠- Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (22/470))
