Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Muâallaâ ibn Muhammad and Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad all from al-Washshaâ from Hammad ibn âUthaman who has narrated the following: âAbu â Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, âIf one makes a will about one-third of his legacy he has harmed the heirs. Making a will about one-fifth or one-fourth of the legacy is better than making a will about one-third.
If one makes a will about one-third he has not left anything (for the heirs).ââ صØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (23/21))
