Al-Kāfi - The Book of Inheritance Chapter: Another Chapter on Invalidity of al-‘Awl (deficiency or excess) and the Ordained Shares are not more than Six 7- أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ خُزَيْ٠َةَ بْنِ يَقْطِينٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْ٠َنِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ أَصْلُ الْفَرَائِضِ ٠ِنْ سِتَّةِ أَسْهُ٠ٍ لا تَزِيدُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ وَلا تَعُولُ عَلَيْهَا ثُ٠َالُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ لأهْلِ السِّهَا٠ِ الَّذِينَ ذُكِرُوا فِي الْكِتَابِ.

They do not increase or face deficiency and thereafter the legacy is for those whose shares are mentioned in the book (of Allah).”’ شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (3/125))
