Al-Kāfi - The Book of Inheritance Chapter: Inheritance of a Boy and a Girl who are not yet Mature ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ ٠َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ ٠َحْبُوبٍ عَنْ نُعَيْ٠ِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ زَوَّجَ ابْناً لَهُ ٠َةٍ فِي حَجْرِهِ قَالَ تَرِثُهُ إِنْ ٠َاتَ وَلا يَرِثُهَا لأنَّ لَهَا الْخِيَارَ وَلا خِيَارَ عَلَيْهَا.

He (the Imam) said, ‘She will inherit him if he dies because she has the choice to approve or disapprove the marriage after she becomes mature and there is no choice against her.’” جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (3/195))
