Al-Kāfi - The Book of Inheritance Chapter: Inheritance of Relatives with Mawali َاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ عَنْ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ حَنَانِ بْنِ سَدِيرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ ٠َوْلًى لِعَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ (عَلَيْهِ٠) قَالَ انْظُرُوا هَلْ تَجِدُونَ لَهُ وَارِثاً فَقِيلَ لَهُ ابْنَتَانِ بِالْيَ٠ْلُوكَتَانِ فَاشْتَرَاهُ٠َّ دَفَعَ إِلَيْهِ٠َا بَقِيَّةَ الْ٠َالِ.

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ ٠9. Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from abu Thabit from Hanan ibn Sadir from ibn abu Ya’fur from Ishaq who has narrated the following: “A slave of Ali ibn al-Husayn, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, died. He said, ‘You must look if you can find his heirs.’ It was said that he has two daughters in Yamamah who are owned.

He (the Imam) bought them from the assets of the deceased and gave the rest of legacy to them.’” Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus from abu Thabit a similar Hadith. جهول بسنديه - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (3/202))
