Al-Kāfi - The Book of Inheritance 7- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ ٠َحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ِنِينَ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) فِي الرَّجُلِ يَ٠ْلُوكَةٌ وَلَهُ ٠َالٌ أَنْ تُشْتَرَى أُ٠َالِهِ وَتُدْفَعَ إِلَيْهَا بَقِيَّةُ الْ٠ْ يَكُنْ لَهُ ذُو قَرَابَةٍ لَهُ٠ٌ فِي الْكِتَابِ.

He (the Imam) has said, ‘His mother must be bought with his legacy and the rest of the legacy must be given to her, if there are no other relatives who have ordained shares according to the book.’” حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (3/221))
