Al-Kāfi - The Book of Inheritance Chapter: The Free and Slaves do not Inherit each other َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَ٠ِ عَنِ الْعَلاءِ بْنِ رَزِينٍ عَنْ ٠) قَالَ لا يَتَوَارَثُ الْحُرُّ وَالْ٠3.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Afi ibn af-Hakam from al-‘Ala’ ibn Razin from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has narrated the following: “One of the two Imam, (abu Ja‘far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, has said, ‘The free and slaves do not inherit each other.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (23/224))
