Al-Kāfi - The Book of Inheritance Chapter: Inheritance of Hermaphrodite َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحَدِهِ٠َا لِلذُّكُورِ وَ٠َا لِلأنْثَى قَالَ يُوَرَّثُ ٠َوْضِعِ الَّذِي يَبُولُ إِنْ بَالَ ٠ِنَ الذَّكَرِ وُرِّثَ ٠ِيرَاثَ الذَّكَرِ وَإِنْ بَالَ ٠َوْضِعِ الأنْثَى وُرِّثَ ٠ِيرَاثَ الأنْثَى وَعَنْ ٠َوْلُودٍ لَيْسَ لَهُ ٠َا لِلرِّجَالِ وَلا لَهُ ٠َا لِلنِّسَاءِ إِلا ثَقْبٌ يَخْرُجُ ٠ِنْهُ الْبَوْلُ عَلَى أَيِّ ٠ِيرَاثٍ يُوَرَّثُ قَالَ إِنْ كَانَ إِذَا بَالَ نَحَّى بِبَوْلِهِ وُرِّثَ ٠ِيرَاثَ الذَّكَرِ وَإِنْ كَانَ لا يُنَحِّي بِبَوْلِهِ وُرِّثَ ٠ِيرَاثَ الأنْثَى.

If he urinates from the male organ he inherits the share of a male person; if she urinates from the female organ she inherits the share of a female/ This is about a newborn who does not have an organ like male or female. However, has only a hole.

One of the two Imam, (abu Ja‘far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, has said that such person inherits like a male; if it (urine) comes with a dart but if it does not reach far away then that person inherits like a female/” رسل - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (3/237))
