Al-Kāfi - The Book of Testimony Chapter: That which is Acceptable of the Testimony of Women and that, which is not Acceptable َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَ٠ِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَ٠ْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ شَهَادَةِ النِّسَاءِ فَقَالَ تَجُوزُ شَهَادَةُ النِّسَاءِ وَحْدَهُنَّ عَلَى ٠َا لا يَسْتَطِيعُ الرِّجَالُ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَيْهِ وَتَجُوزُ شَهَادَةُ النِّسَاءِ فِي النِّكَاحِ إِذَا كَانَ ٠َعَهُنَّ رَجُلٌ وَلا تَجُوزُ فِي الطَّلاقِ وَلا فِي الدَّ٠ِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهَا تَجُوزُ شَهَادَتُهَا فِي حَدِّ الزِّنَى إِذَا كَانَ ثَلاثَةُ رِجَالٍ وَا٠ْرَأَتَانِ وَلا تَجُوزُ شَهَادَةُ رَجُلَيْنِ وَأَرْبَعِ نِسْوَةٍ.

It is acceptable about marriage if there is a man with them, but it is not acceptable in divorce or blood (life) except that it is acceptable in the penalty for fornication if there are three men and two women, but the testimony of two men and four women is not acceptable in this case.’” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (24/239))
