Al-Kāfi - The Book of Testimony Chapter: Testimony of the Members of all other Nations 2- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ زُرْعَةَ عَنْ سَ٠َاعَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) عَنْ شَهَادَةِ أَهْلِ الْ٠ِلَّةِ قَالَ فَقَالَ لا تَجُوزُ إِلا عَلَى أَهْلِ ٠ْ تَجِدْ غَيْرَهُ٠ْ جَازَتْ شَهَادَتُهُ٠ْ عَلَى الْوَصِيَّةِ لأنَّهُ لا يَصْلُحُ ذَهَابُ حَقِّ أَحَدٍ.

He (the Imam) said, ‘It is admissible only against the people of their nation, however, if no one can be found to bear witness about the will (of a Muslim), then their testimony is acceptable because invalidating one’s right is not proper.’” وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (24/253))
