Al-Kāfi - The Book of Oaths, Vows and Expiations Chapter: An Oath is not Valid except by Allah, One who does not Agree with Allah is not of Allah ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْ٠َانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْخَزَّازِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠َنْ حَلَفَ بِاللهِ فَلْيَصْدُقْ وَ٠ْ يَصْدُقْ فَلَيْسَ ٠َنْ حُلِفَ لَهُ بِاللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَلْيَرْضَ وَ٠ْ يَرْضَ فَلَيْسَ ٠ِنَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.

One must agree with an oath by Allah, if he does do so he is not of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious.’” وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (4/313))
