Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Safwan ibn Yahya who has narrated the following: âI once asked abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about the case of a man who swears but his mind is on something other than that for which he has taken the oath. He (the Imam) said, âSwearing is for that which is in oneâs mind.ââ Øس٠- Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (4/323))
