Al-Kāfi - The Book of Oaths, Vows and Expiations Chapter: Kaffarah (expiation) for Swearing 10- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ِنِينَ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ْ يَجِدْ فِي الْكَفَّارَةِ إِلا الرَّجُلَ وَالرَّجُلَيْنِ فَلْيُكَرِّرْ عَلَيْهِ٠ْ حَتَّى يَسْتَكْ٠ِلَ الْعَشَرَةَ يُعْطِيهِ٠10.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has narrated the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin, Ali (a.s.), has said, ‘If one cannot find ten destitute people at one time he can feed fewer people several times like this and in next day until it is equal to feeding ten destitute people.’” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (24/339))
