Al-Kāfi - The Book - Garden (of Flowers) Chapter: Signs of the coming of the end of the world ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ ٠َرَ الصَّيْقَلِ عَنْ أَبِي شُعَيْبٍ الْ٠ِلِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سُلَيْ٠َانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠ِنِينَ ( عليه السلا٠) لَيَأْتِيَنَّ عَلَى النَّاسِ زَ٠َانٌ يُظْرَفُ فِيهِ الْفَاجِرُ وَ يُقَرَّبُ فِيهِ الْ٠َاجِنُ وَ يُضَعَّفُ فِيهِ الْ٠ُنْصِفُ قَالَ فَقِيلَ لَهُ ٠َتَى ذَاكَ يَا أَ٠ِنِينَ فَقَالَ إِذَا اتُّخِذَتِ الْأَ٠اً وَ الزَّكَاةُ ٠اً وَ الْعِبَادَةُ اسْتِطَالَةً وَ الصِّلَةُ ٠َنّاً قَالَ فَقِيلَ ٠َتَى ذَلِكَ يَا أَ٠ِنِينَ فَقَالَ إِذَا تَسَلَّطْنَ النِّسَاءُ وَ سُلِّطْنَ الْإِ٠ِّرَ الصِّبْيَانُ.

He (the narrator) said, ‘I said to him (asws), ‘When would that be, O Amir-ul-Momineen (asws)?’ He (asws) said: ‘When an entrustment would be regarded as a gain and the Zakat as a loss, and the worship as a protracted (engagement), and the maintenance of good relations as a favour’.

He (the narrator) said, ‘I said to him (asws), ‘When would that be, O Amir-ul-Momineen (asws)?’ So he (asws) said: ‘When the women become dominant, and the bondmaids would be empowered, and the young boys would assume command’. ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (15/160)) يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi)
