Al-Kāfi - The Book - Garden (of Flowers) Chapter: Excellence of Shi’ah and reproach of their opposition عَنْهُ عَنِ ابْنِ ٠َالِكٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ لِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلا٠َا تَرْضَوْنَ أَنْ تُقِي٠ُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَ تُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَ تَكُفُّوا وَ تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ يَا ٠َالِكُ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ ٠ٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا جَاءَ يَوْ٠ْ وَ يَلْعَنُونَهُ إِلَّا أَنْتُ٠َالِكُ إِنَّ الْ٠َيِّتَ وَ اللَّهِ ٠ْ عَلَى هَذَا الْأَ٠ْرِ لَشَهِيدٌ بِ٠َنْزِلَةِ الضَّارِبِ بِسَيْفِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ.

By Allah (azwj), the dead ones from among you who were upon this matter (Al-Wilayah) are martyrs of the status of the striker with his sword in the Way of Allah (azwj)’. صحيح - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi (3 / 388)) حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (15/354))
