Al-Kāfi - The Book - Garden (of Flowers) Chapter: Undesirability of naming children Ali or Fatimah جَعْفَرٌ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلا٠ْ وَ ذِكْرَ عَلِيٍّ وَ فَاطِ٠) فَإِنَّ النَّاسَ لَيْسَ شَيْ‏ءٌ أَبْغَضَ إِلَيْهِ٠ِنْ ذِكْرِ عَلِيٍّ وَ فَاطِ٠156.

Ja’far, from Anbasat, from Abu Abdullah (asws) having said: ‘Beware of mentioning Ali (asws) and Fatima (sa) (in front of others) for there is nothing more hateful to them than the speaking of Ali (asws) and Fatima (sa)’. يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi) ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (16/21))
