Al-Kāfi - The Book - Garden (of Flowers) Chapter: Destruction of ‘Umayyah ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ عَ٠َّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلا٠) قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ ذِكْرُهُ أَذِنَ فِي هَلَاكِ بَنِي أُ٠َيَّةَ بَعْدَ إِحْرَاقِهِ٠ْ زَيْداً بِسَبْعَةِ أَيَّا٠165.

A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Al-Hassan Bin Ali Al-Washa, from the one whom he mentioned, who has narrated the following: Abu Abdullah (asws) having said that: ‘Allah (azwj) Gave Permission for the destruction of the Clan of Umayya seven days after their burning of the body of Zayd’. يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi) ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (16/25))
