Al-Kāfi - The Book - Garden (of Flowers) Chapter: About the words Allah ‘...do not ask about certain matters..’ (5:101) ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عليه السلا٠) لا تَسْئَلُوا عَنْ أَشْياءَ لَ٠ْ إِنْ تُبْدَ لَكُ٠248.

A number of our companions, from Sahl Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from a man, who has narrated: Abu Ja’far (asws) (has explained this verse) about “[5:101] O you who believe! do not put questions about things which if declared to you may trouble you” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (16/119)) يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi)
