Al-Kāfi - The Book - Garden (of Flowers) Chapter: The lightning requires rain جَعْفَرُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ رُزَيْقٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلا٠َا أَبْرَقَتْ قَطُّ فِي ظُلْ٠َةِ لَيْلٍ وَ لَا ضَوْءِ نَهَارٍ إِلَّا وَ هِيَ ٠267.

Ja’far Bin Basheer, from Ruzeyq, who has reported the following: Abu Abdullah (asws) has said: ‘Lightning does not occur at all in the darkness of the night or the light of the day unless it is raining’. جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (16/141)) يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi)
