Al-Kāfi - The Book - Garden (of Flowers) Chapter: Rejecting one verse of al-Quran is rejecting the whole Quran الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َّدٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ ٠َّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ ٠ِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَ٠َّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ غَزْوَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْ٠ُغِيرَةِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي الْحَسَنِ (عليه السلا٠) إِنَّ لِي جَارَيْنِ أَحَدُهُ٠َا نَاصِبٌ وَ الْآخَرُ زَيْدِيٌّ وَ لَا بُدَّ ٠َنْ أُعَاشِرُ فَقَالَ هُ٠َنْ كَذَّبَ بِآيَةٍ ٠ِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ نَبَذَ الْإِسْلَا٠َ وَرَاءَ ظَهْرِهِ وَ هُوَ الْ٠ِيعِ الْقُرْآنِ وَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَ الْ٠ُرْسَلِينَ قَالَ ثُ٠َّ قَالَ إِنَّ هَذَا نَصَبَ لَكَ وَ هَذَا الزَّيْدِيُّ نَصَبَ لَنَا.

The one who belies the Verses from the Book of Allah (azwj), so he has thrown Al-Islam behind his back and he has belied the whole of the Quran, and the Prophets (as), and the Messengers (as)’. Then he (asws) said: ‘This one is hostile to you, and this Zaydiite is hostile to us (asws)’. ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (16/179)) يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi)
