Hanaan, from Abu Al-Khattab, who has said: Abd Salih (asws) (7 (th) Imam (asws)) having said: âThe people were affected by severe drought during the era of Suleiman Bin Dawood (as). So they complained about that to him (as), and sought from him (as) that he (as) should Pray for themâ. So he (as) said to them: âWhen I (as) have Prayed the morning Prayer, I (as) will come with youâ. So when he (as) had Prayed the morning Prayer, he (as) went and they went (with him (as)).
So when they were on one of the roads, there was an ant there which had raised its hand to the sky, and placed its feet upon the earth, and it was saying, âOur Allah (azwj)! We are also creatures from Your (azwj) creatures, and we are not needless of Your (azwj) sustenance, so do not Destroy us for the sins committed by the children of Adam (as)â. So Suleiman said: âReturn! You shall be quenched by others (in other ways)â.
So they were quenched in that year the like of which they had never been quenched at allâ. ضعÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (16/215)) Ùخرج٠- Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi)
