Al-Kāfi - The Book - Garden (of Flowers) Chapter: Instruction to vist each other ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَهْ٠ِ عَنْ أَبِي خَدِيجَةَ قَالَ قَالَ لِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠ْ بَيْنَكَ وَ بَيْنَ الْبَصْرَةِ قُلْتُ فِي الْ٠ْسٌ إِذَا طَابَتِ الرِّيحُ وَ عَلَى الظَّهْرِ ثَ٠َانٍ وَ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ ٠َا أَقْرَبَ هَذَا تَزَاوَرُوا وَ يَتَعَاهَدُ بَعْضُكُ٠ْ بَعْضاً فَإِنَّهُ لَا بُدَّ يَوْ٠ِنْ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ كُلُّ إِنْسَانٍ بِشَاهِدٍ يَشْهَدُ لَهُ عَلَى دِينِهِ وَ قَالَ إِنَّ الْ٠َ إِذَا رَأَى أَخَاهُ كَانَ حَيَاةً لِدِينِهِ إِذَا ذَكَرَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ.

Visit each other frequently for there will not be an escape on the Day of Judgement from each human being to bring a witness who would testify for him upon his Religion’. And said: ‘If a Muslims sees his brother, it is a revival for his Religion if he Mentions Allah (azwj) (during their meeting)’. يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi) جهول وقيل ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (16/419))
