Al-Khiṣāl - Part 3: On Three-Numbered Characteristics Chapter: One Characteristic Results in Three Characteristics 3-22 حدثنا أبي رضي الله عنه قال: حدثنا ٠د بن يحيى العطار، عن ٠د، عن أبي سعيد الاد٠ي، عن عبدالعزيز العبدي، عن ابن أبي يعفور قال: س٠عت أبا عبد الله عليه السلا٠ن تعلق قلبه بالدنيا تعلق ٠نها بثلاث خصال: ه٠ل لا يدرك، ورجاء لا ينال 3-22 (The compiler of the book narrated) that his father - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Attar quoted Muhammad ibn Ahmad, on the authority of Abi Sa’id al-Adamy, on the authority of Abdul Aziz al-Abdi that Ibn Abi Ya’foor said, “I heard Aba Abdullah as-Sadiq (MGB) say, ‘Whoever gets attached to this world has only grabbed onto continual grief, unattainable aspirations and unreachable hopes.’”
