First and foremost is the Honorable the Exalted Godâs Hand. And the hand of the donor which is near it. And then there is the lower hand which is that of the beggar. Then give in charity (from what is in excess of your and your familyâs need) and do not belittle yourself (by overdoing charity such that you yourself become needy.â
