Al-Khiá¹£Äl - Part 4: On Four-Numbered Characteristics Chapter: The body is sustained on four things تÙÙ٠رض٠اÙÙ٠عÙÙ ÙاÙ: ØدثÙا ٠د ب٠ÙØÙ٠اÙØ¹Ø·Ø§Ø±Ø Ø¹Ù Ù Ø¯Ø Ø¹Ù Ø¯Ø±Ø³ØªØ Ø¹Ù Ø£Ø¨Ù Ø§ÙاصبÙØºØ Ø¹Ù Ø£Ø¨Ù Ø¹Ø¨Ùد اÙÙ٠عÙÙÙ٠اÙسÙا٠ÙاÙ: بÙ٠اÙجسد عÙ٠أربعة أشÙاء [عÙÙ] اÙرÙØ ÙاÙعÙÙØ ÙاÙد٠ÙاÙÙÙس Ùإذا خرج اÙرÙØ ØªØ¨Ø¹Ù Ø§ÙعÙÙØ Ùإذا رأ٠اÙرÙØ Ø´Ùئا ØÙظ٠عÙÙ٠اÙعÙÙ ÙبÙ٠اÙد٠4-61 Muhammad ibn Musa ibn al-Mutawakkil (ra) narrated that Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Attar quoted Muhammad ibn Ahmad, on the authority of Durost, on the authority of Abil Asbaq that Aba Abdillah (as) said, âThe body is based on four things: the spirit, the mind; the blood and the self.
Once the spirit departs the body, the mind shall follow it. Once the spirit sees something, it will be saved by the mind and maintained by the blood and the self.â
