Al-Khiá¹£Äl - Part 4: On Four-Numbered Characteristics Chapter: A servant has four eyes 4-90 ØØ¯Ø«Ùا أب٠رض٠اÙÙ٠عÙÙ ÙØ§Ù: ØØ¯Ø«Ùا سعد ب٠عبد اÙÙÙØ ع٠اÙÙØ§Ø³Ù د Ø§ÙØ§ØµØ¨ÙاÙÙØ ع٠سÙÙÙ ÙÙØ±ÙØ Ø¹Ù Ø³ÙÙØ§Ù ب٠عÙÙÙØ©Ø Ø¹Ù Ø§ÙØ²ÙØ±ÙØ ع٠عÙÙ Ø¨Ù Ø§ÙØØ³Ù٠عÙÙÙÙ ÙØ§Ù ÙÙ ØØ¯ÙØ« Ø·ÙÙÙ ÙÙÙÙ ÙÙÙ: Ø£ÙØ§ Ø¥Ù ÙÙØ¹Ø¨Ø¯ أربع أعÙÙ: عÙÙØ§Ù ÙØ¨ØµØ± بÙ٠ر دÙÙÙ ÙØ¯ÙÙØ§ÙØ ÙØ¹ÙÙØ§Ù ÙØ¨ØµØ± بÙ٠ر Ø¢Ø®Ø±ØªÙØ ÙØ¥Ø°Ø§ أراد اÙÙ٠بعبد Ø®ÙØ±Ø§ ÙØªØ ÙÙ Ø§ÙØ¹ÙÙÙ٠اÙÙØªÙÙ ÙÙ ÙÙØ¨Ù ÙØ£Ø¨ØµØ± بÙ٠ر Ø¢Ø®Ø±ØªÙ ÙØ¥Ø°Ø§ أراد Ø¨Ù ØºÙØ± ذÙ٠تر٠اÙÙÙØ¨ ب٠4-90 (The compiler of the book narrated) that his father - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Saâed ibn Abdullah quoted Al-Qasim ibn Muhammad al-Isfahani, on the authority of Suleiman ibn Davood al-Minqari, on the authority of Sufyan ibn Ayyineh, on the authority of Al-Zuhra that in part of a long narration, Ali ibn al-Hussein as-Sajjad (MGB) said, âGodâs servant has four eyes: two eyes with which he sees the affairs of this world and his religion; and two inner eyes with which he sees the affairs of the Hereafter.
When God wishes good for His servant, He opens the servants inner eyes which are in his heart, so that he can see the affairs related to the Hereafter. However, when God wishes anything else, He shall close his inner eyes. â
