Do you know how the prayer over the dead is?â I answered, âNo.â The Imam (MGB) said, âThere are five Takbirs (saying God is Great) in the prayer over the dead. Do you know why there are five?â I said, âNo.â The Imam (MGB) said, âThe five has been derived from the five daily prayers - one Takbir from each.ââ
