Al-Khiṣāl - Part 5: On Five-Numbered Characteristics Chapter: The followers of Ja’far have all the following five characteristics 5-64 حدثنا أبي رضي الله عنه قال: حدثنا سعد بن عبد الله، عن أح٠ـدبن خالد، عن أبيه، عن ٠ر قال: قال أبوعبد الله عليه السلا٠ن عف بطنه وفرجه، واشتد جهاده، وع٠ل لخالقه، ورجا ثوابه، وخاف عقابه، فإذا رأيت اولئك فاولئك شيعة جعفروقد أخرجت ٠ا رويته في هذا ال٠عنى في كتاب صفات الشيعة 5-64 (The compiler of the book narrated) that his father -may God be pleased with him- narrated that Sa’ed ibn Abdullah quoted Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibnKhalid, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Sin’an, on the authority of Al-Mufaz’zal ibn Umar, on the authority of Abu Abdullah Ja’far ibn Muhammad as-Sadiq (MGB), “Indeed the followers of Ja’far ibn Muhammad (MGB) are those who do not eat unlawful foods; do not commit adultery; are assiduous; work for the sake of God and hope to be rewarded by Him; are afraid of God’s chastisement.

Such people are the followers of Ja’far ibn Muhammad.”I have written what has been narrated on this issue in the book Sefat-i-Shiah.
