Al-Khiṣāl - Part 6: On Six-Numbered Characteristics Chapter: Anyone Who Likes Someone Will Not Do Six Things to Him 6-35 حدثنا أبي رضي الله عنه قال: حدثنا أح٠د عن أبي عبد الله الرازي، عن الحسن بن علي بن عث٠د بن نوح، عن رجل عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلا٠قال الحارث الاعور لا٠نين أنا والله أحبك، فقال له: يا حارث أ٠ا إذا أحببتني فلا تخاص٠ني، ولا تلاعبني، ولا تجاريني ولا ت٠ازحني، ولا تواضعني، ولا ترافعني 6-35 (The compiler of the book narrated) that his father - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Ahmad ibn Idris quoted Muhammad ibn Ahmad, on the authority of Aba Abdullah al-Razi, on the authority of Al-Hassan ibn Ali ibn Uthman, on the authority of Ahmad ibn Nooh, on the authority of a man, on the authority of Aba Abdullah as-Sadiq (MGB) that Al-Harith al-A’oar swore by God and told the Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali (MGB) that he likes him.

The Commander of the Faithful (MGB) told him, “O Harith! You should not act as my enemy, if you like me. You should not play with me; overtake me; tease me; belittle me; quarrel with me or act proudly with me if you like me.”
