Al-Khiá¹£Äl - Part 10: On Ten-Numbered Characteristics Chapter: The Ten Names of the Prophet (sw) 10-2 ØدثÙا أب٠رض٠اÙÙ٠عÙÙ ÙاÙ: ØدثÙا سعد ب٠عبد اÙÙÙØ Ø¹Ù Ø£Ø٠د ب٠عÙسÙØ Ø¹Ù Ø§ÙØس٠ب٠عÙ٠ب٠ÙضاÙØ Ø¹Ù Ø§Ø¨Ù Ø¨ÙÙØ±Ø Ø¹Ù Ù Ø¹Ù Ø£Ø¨Ù Ø¬Ø¹Ùر عÙÙ٠اÙسÙا٠ÙاÙ:Ø¥Ù ÙرسÙ٠اÙÙ٠عÙÙ٠اÙسÙا٠سة ÙÙست Ù٠اÙÙرآ٠Ùأ٠ا اÙت٠Ù٠اÙÙرآÙ: Ù٠د Ùعبد اÙÙÙ ÙÙس ÙÙÙÙØ Ùأ٠ا اÙت٠ÙÙست Ù٠اÙÙرآ٠ÙاÙÙØ§ØªØ ÙاÙخات٠10-2 (The compiler of the book narrated) that his father - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Saâed ibn Abdullah quoted Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Isa, on the authority of Al-Hassan ibn Ali ibn Fazâzal, on the authority of Ibn Bakir, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Muslim that Abi Jaâfar al-Baqir (MGB) said, âIndeed there are ten names for the Prophet of God (MGB): five of which are in the Quran and five of which are not in the Quran.
The ones that are in the Quran are Muhammad (MGB); Ahmad; Abdullah; YaSin; and Noon. The names which are not in the Quran are Al-Fatih; Al-Khatam; Al-Kafi; Al-Muqfi and Al-Hashir.â
