An imposter should not expect to have many friends. A bad-tempered person should not expect to be honored. A miser should not expect to have relatives visit him. One who makes fun of others should not expect to have real friends. One who knows little about decrees should not expect to judge. One who gossips should not expect to remain safe. One who is jealous should not expect comfort. One who underestimates minor sins should not expect to become a master.
