Al-Khiá¹£Äl - Part 28: On More than One-Thousand Numbered Characteristics Chapter: There Were Twelve Thousand of The Prophet د Ø¨Ù Ø²ÙØ§Ø¯ Ø¨Ù Ø¬Ø¹ÙØ± اÙÙ٠داÙ٠رض٠اÙÙ٠عÙÙ ÙØ§Ù: ØØ¯Ø«Ùا عÙ٠اب٠إبراÙÙÙ Ø Ø¹Ù Ø£Ø¨Ù Ø¹Ø¨Ø¯ اÙÙ٠عÙÙÙ Ø§ÙØ³ÙØ§Ù ÙØ§Ù: ÙØ§Ù Ø£ØµØØ§Ø¨ رسÙ٠اÙÙ٠صÙ٠اÙÙ٠عÙÙÙ ÙØ¢Ù٠اثÙ٠عشر Ø£ÙÙØ§ ث٠رج٠ÙÙØ§ ØØ±Ùر٠ÙÙØ§ ٠عتزÙÙØ ÙÙØ§ ØµØØ§Ø¨ Ø±Ø£ÙØ ÙØ§ÙÙØ§ ÙØ¨ÙÙ٠اÙÙÙÙ ÙØ§ÙÙÙØ§Ø± ÙÙÙÙÙÙÙ: Ø§ÙØ¨Ø¶ Ø£Ø±ÙØ§ØÙا Ù Ù ÙØ¨Ù Ø£Ù ÙØ£Ù٠خبز Ø§ÙØ®Ù 28-5 Ahmad ibn Ziyad ibn Jaâfar al-Hamdany (ra) narrated that Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashim quoted his father, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Abi Umayr, on the authority of Hisham ibn Salim that Abi Abdillah as-Sadiq (AS) said, âThe companions of the Messenger of Allah (sw) were twelve-thousand.
Eight-thousand of them were from Medina, two-thousand of them were from Mecca and another two-thousand of them were from the tulaqa (those who became Muslims after the conquest of Mecca). There were no Qadaris, Murji'is, Kharijites, Muâtazilites, nor any who acts according to their own opinions. They cried day and night and said, âOh Allah! Please take away our souls before we eat barley bread.ââ
