ʿUyūn akhbār al-Riḍā - Content Chapter: On Proofs of Divine Leadership of al-Ridha (s) Among the Twelve Imams (s) 12 - حَدَّثَنا أَحْ٠َدُ بْنُ الحَسَنِ القَطَّانُ قالَ: حَدَّثَنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ عُبِيْدَةَ النِيْسابُوريُّ قالَ: حَدَّثَنا أَبُو القاسِ٠ِ هارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحاقَ - يَعْنِي الهَ٠ْدانِيَّ - قالَ: حَدَّثَني عَ٠َّدٍ، عَنْ زِيادِ بْنِ عِلاقَةَ وَعَبْدِ ال٠َيْرٍ، عَنْ جابِرِ بْنِ سَ٠ُرَةَ قالَ: كُنْتُ ٠َعَ أَبي عِنْدَ النَّبِيِ‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ فَسَ٠ِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: يَكُون بَعْدي اثْنا عَشَر أَ٠َّ أَخْفى‏ صَوْتَهُ فَقُلْتُ لأَبِي: ٠االَّذِي أَخْفى‏ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ قالَ: قالَ: كُلُّهُ٠6-12 Ahmad ibn Al-Hassan al-Qattan narrated that Abu Bakr Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Ubaydah al-Neishaboori quoted on the authority of Abul Qasim Harun ibn Ishaq, i.e.

al-Hamdani, on the authority of his uncle Ibrahim ibn Muhammad, on the authority of Ziyad ibn Ilaqa and Abdul Malik ibn Umayr, on the authority of Jabir ibn Samrah, “My father and I were with the Prophet (s). I heard the Prophet (s) say, ‘There will be twelve Leaders after me.’ Then the Prophet (s) lowered his voice. I asked my father, ‘What did he (s) say when he lowered his voice?’ My father said, ‘The Prophet (s) said, ‘They are all from the Quraysh (tribe).’”
