ʿUyūn akhbār al-Riḍā - Content Chapter: On Proofs of Divine Leadership of al-Ridha (s) Among the Twelve Imams (s) 22 - حَدَّثَنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ ٠َسْرُورٍ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قالَ: حَدَّثَنا الحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َّدٍ البَصَرِيِّ، عَنِ الحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِىٍّ الوَشَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبانِ بْنِ عُثْ٠انَ، عَنْ زُرارَةَ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ قالَ: سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ُ يَقُولُ: نَحْنُ اثْنا عَشَر إِ٠ُ الحَسَنُ وَالحُسَيْنُ ثُ٠ِنْ وُلْدِ الحُسَيْنِ‏ عَلَيْهِ٠6-22 Ja’far ibn Muhammad ibn Masroor - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Al-Hussein ibn Muhammad ibn Aamir quoted on the authority of Al-Mo’alla ibn Muhammad al-Basri, on the authority of Al-Hassan ibn Ali Al-Washsha’, on the authority of Aban ibn Uthman, on the authority of Zurara ibn A’yun that he had heard Aba Ja’far say, “We are twelve Divine Leaders including Al-Hassan (s), Al-Hussein (s), and then the rest of the Divine Leaders are from the descendants of Al-Hussein (s).”
