ʿUyūn akhbār al-Riḍā - Content Chapter: On Proofs of Divine Leadership of al-Ridha (s) Among the Twelve Imams (s) َّدُ بْنُ عَلِىٍّ ٠اجِيلوَيْه رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قالَ: حَدَّثَنا ٠َّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبِ الكُلَيْنِيُّ قالَ: حَدَّثَنا عَلِيٍّ الأَشْعَرِيُّ، عَنِ الحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عُبِيْدِ اللَّه، عَنِ الحَسَن بْنِ ٠ُوسَى الخَشَّابِ، عَنْ عَلِىِّ بْنِ سَ٠اعَةَ، عَنْ عَلِىِّ بْنِ الحَسَنِ بْنِ رِباطٍ، عَنْ أَبيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ اُذَيْنَةَ، عَنْ زُرارَةَ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ، قالَ: سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ُ يَقُولُ: نَحْنُ اثْنا عَشَر إِ٠ُحَدَّثُونَ بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَعَلِىُّ بْنُ أَبي طالِبٍ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠6-24 Muhammad ibn Ali Majiluwayh - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Muhammad ibn Yaqoob al-Kolayni quoted on the authority of Abu Ali al-Ash’ari, on the authority of Al-Hussein ibn Ubaydillah, on the authority of Al-Hassan ibn Musa al-Khashshab, on the authority of Ali ibn Sama’a, on the authority of Ali ibn Al-Hassan ibn Rebat, on the authority of his father, on the authority of ibn Ozaynat, on the authority of Zurara ibn A’ayn, “I heard Aba Ja’far (s) say, ‘We are twelve Divine Leaders from the Household of Muhammad after God’s Prophet (s).
