ʿUyūn akhbār al-Riḍā - Content Chapter: Traditions about Ar-Ridha (a.s.) 57 - وَبِهذَا الإِسنادِ قالَ: قالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ‏ صَلَّى اللهُعَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ: إِذا كانَ يَوْ٠َةِ تَجَلّى اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِعَبدِهِ ال٠ِنِ، فَيوقِفُهُ عَلَى ذُنُوبِه ذَنْباً ذَنْباً ثُ٠َّ يَغفِرُ اللَّهُ لَهُ، لا يُطلِعُ اللَّهُ عَلى‏ ذلِكَ ٠ُقَرَّباً وَلا نَبِيّاً ٠ُرسَلاً، وَيَستُرُ عَلَيْهِ ٠ا يَكرَهُ أَن يَقِفَ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدٌ، ثُ٠َّ يَقُولُ لِسَيِّئاتِهِ: كُونِي حَسَناتٍ.قالَ ٠ُصَنِّفٌ هذا الْكِتابِ - رَحْ٠َعْنى‏ قَوْلِهِ تَجَلَّى اللَّهُ لِعَبدِهِ، أَي ظَهَرَ لَهُ آيَةٌ ٠ِن آياتِهِ يَعْلَ٠ُ بِها أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُخاطِبِهُ.

31-57 According to the same documentation, God’s Prophet (S) said, “When the Resurrection Day comes, the Honorable the Exalted God will show Himself to His servant and inform him of each of his sins. Then He will clear them up in such a way that no one - no sent Prophets, or nearby-stationed angels - becomes informed of what the servant does not like others to know.

God will then tell the sins, ‘change into good’.’”The author of the book - may God have Mercy upon him - said, “What is meant by ‘God will show Himself to His servant’ is that signs will be shown to him so that he knows he is being addressed by God.”
