ʿUyūn akhbār al-Riḍā - Content Chapter: Traditions about Ar-Ridha (a.s.) 159 - وَبِهذَا الإِسناد عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ ٠َّد عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ُأَنَّهُ سَئَلَ عَنْ زِيارَةِ قَبْرِ الحُسَيْنِبْنِ عَلِى‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ُ قالَ: أَخْبَرنِي أَبي‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠َن زارَ قَبْرَ الحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِى‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ُ عارِفاً بِحَقِّهِ كَتَبَهُ اللَّه فِي عِليِّينَ ثُ٠َّ قالَ: إِنَّ حَولَ قَبْرِ الحُسَيْن‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ُ سَبْعِينَ أَلْفَ ٠َلَكٍ شُعثِ غُبرٍ يَبكُونَ عَلَيْهِ إلى يَوْ٠31-159 According to the same documentation, it is narrated on the authority of Ja’far ibn Muhammad (a.s.) that he (a.s.) was asked about visitingthe shrine of Al-Husayn ibn Ali (a.s.).

The Imam (a.s.) said, “My father (a.s.) informed me that God will record the name of anyone who visits the shrine of Al-Husayn ibn Ali (a.s.) and recognizes his (a.s.) rightfulness in the book called Illiyyeen.” He (a.s.) added, “Indeed there are seventy-thousand angels with dusty hair around the shrine who cry for him all the way to the Resurrection Day.”
