ʿUyūn akhbār al-Riḍā - Content Chapter: Traditions about Ar-Ridha (a.s.) ر الحافِظُ قالَ: حَدَّثَنا الحَسَنبْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّه الَت٠ي قالَ: حَدَّثَني أَبي قالَ: حَدَّثَني سَيِّدي عَلِىِّ بْنِ ٠ُوسَى الرِّضا، عَنْ أَبيهِ ٠ُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَر، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ٠َّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَلِىٍّ، عَنْ أَبيهِ عَلِىِّ بْنِ الحُسَيْن، عَنْ أَبيهِ الحُسَيْن، عَنْ فاطِ٠َةَ بِنْت رَسُولُ اللَّهِ‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلاة وَالسَّلا٠ُ قالَ لِعَلِيِ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠َن كُنْتُ وَلِيَّهُ فَعَلِىٌّ وَلِيُهُ، وَ٠َهُ فَعَلِىٌّ إِ٠31-279 Muhammad ibn Umar al-Hafiz narrated that Al-Hassan ibn Abdullah al-Tamimi quoted on the authority of his father, on the authority of his Master Ali ibn Musa Ar-Ridha’ (a.s.), on the authority of his father Musa ibn Ja’far (a.s.), on the authority of his father Ja’far ibn Muhammad (a.s.), on the authority of his father Muhammad ibn Ali (a.s.), on the authority of his father Ali ibn Al-Husayn (a.s.), on the authority of his father Al-Husayn (a.s.), on the authority of (the Blessed Lady) Fatima - the daughter of God’s Prophet (S) that the Prophet - May Peace and Blessings be upon him - said the following about Ali (a.s.), “Whoever I am the Master of, Ali (a.s.) is his Master of.
