ʿUyūn akhbār al-Riḍā - Content Chapter: Traditions about Ar-Ridha (a.s.) 313 - وَبِإِسْنادِهِ عَن الحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِى‏عَلَيْهِ٠ُقالَ: قالَ لي‏ بُرَيدَةُ أ٠َرَنا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَن نُسَلِّ٠َ عَلَى أَبِيكَ بِأَ٠31-313 According to the same documentation, on the authority of Al-Husayn ibn Ali (a.s.), “Burayda told me that God’s Prophet (S) ordered that they (the people) call my father the Commander of the Faithful (a.s.).”
