Iâd really wish that he (a.s.) would donate to me some of his own robes and give me some Dirham coins which have been issued in his own name.â I went in to see Ar-Ridhaâ (a.s.) and before I could say anything, the Imam (a.s.) said, âIn fact, Ar-Ryan ibn al-Salt has sought permission to visit me, and has asked for some of my robes and Dirhams. I grant him permission to come in.â Then Ar-Ryan entered and greeted the Imam (a.s.).
The Imam (a.s.) granted him two sets of robes and thirty Dirhams which had been coined in his name.â
