Al-AmÄlÄ« - Seventeenth Assembly Chapter: What Salman said about âAli (as) 2 - ÙاÙ: أخبرÙ٠أب٠اÙØس٠عÙ٠ب٠٠د ب٠ØبÙØ´ اÙÙاتب ÙاÙ: ØدثÙا اÙØس٠ب٠عÙ٠اÙزعÙراÙÙ ÙاÙ: ØدثÙا إبراÙÙ٠د اÙØ«ÙÙÙ ÙاÙ: ØدثÙا اÙ٠سعÙد٠ÙاÙ: ØدثÙا ÙØÙ٠ب٠ساÙ٠اÙعبد٠ÙاÙ: ØدثÙا ٠رÙØ Ø¹Ù Ø²Ø± ب٠ØبÙØ´ ÙاÙ: ٠ر عÙ٠ب٠أب٠طاÙب عÙÙ٠اÙسÙا٠عÙ٠بغÙØ© رسÙ٠اÙÙ٠صÙ٠اÙÙ٠عÙÙÙ ÙØ¢ÙÙ ÙسÙÙ Ø© اÙÙ٠عÙÙÙ: Ø£Ùا تÙÙÙ Ù٠تأخذÙ٠بØجزت٠تسأÙÙÙÙØ ÙÙ [اÙÙÙ] اÙØ°Ù ÙÙ٠اÙØبة Ùبرأ اÙÙس٠أØد غÙرÙØ ÙØ¥ÙÙ ÙعاÙ٠اÙأرض ÙزرÙا Ø ÙØ¥ÙÙ٠تسÙÙØ ÙÙÙ ÙÙدت٠2.
He said: Abul Hasan âAli ibn Muhammad ibn Hubaish al-Katib reported to me from al-Hasan ibn âAli al-Zafarani, who reported from Ibrahim ibn Muhammad al-Thaqafi, who reported from al-Masoodi, who reported from Yahya ibn Salim al-Abdi, who reported from Maysarah, from al-Minhal ibn Amru, from Zarr ibn Hubaish who said: Once, âAli ibn Abi Talib, peace be upon him, passed by riding the Prophetâs mule and Salman was present among the people.
So Salman - may Allah bless him with mercy, said: "(O people)! do you not rise to detain him and ask him questions? By Allah, Who split the grain and created the breathing creatures, no one but he (i.e. âAli) will inform you about the secrets of your Prophet. Indeed, he is the most learned about this earth and its chief element on which it rests. If you miss him, you will miss the knowledge and deny the people (its benefit)."
