And with the foregoing chains of narration from âAli ibn Mahzyar, from Asim, from Fudhail al-Rassan, from Yahya ibn Aqeel, who reported that: âAli, peace be upon him, said: "I fear for you two things: following the desire of soul and being deluded by long hope. As for following the base desire, it keeps you away from truth, and as for the long hope, it causes you to forget the hereafter. The next world moves to encounter you, while this world moves to turn its back!
And each has its own children. So be the children of the next world and do not be among the children of this world. Today, there are deeds and no account, but tomorrow there will be account and no deeds."
