He said: Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Umar al-Jiâabi reported to me from Abu Nasr Muhammad ibn Umar al-Nishaburi, who reported from Muhammad ibn Abu Sary, who reported from his father, who reported from Hafs ibn Ghiyas, from Bard ibn Sinan, from Makhool, from Wathilah ibn al-Asqa, who said: The Prophet said: "Never gloat over the misfortune of your brother, for he may be freed from it and you may be the next victim." And may Allah bless our master Muhammad, the Prophet and his progeny.
