He said: Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Umar al-Jiâabi reported to me from Abu Jaâfar Muhammad ibn Swaleh al-Qadhi, who reported from Masrooq ibn al-Marzban, who reported from Hafs, from Asim, from Abu Uthman, from Abu Huraira, who said: The Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, said: "The most helpless person is the one who renders himself unable to supplicate (to Allah), and the most niggardly is the one who is miserly with greeting in salaam."
