Al-Tawḥīd - Content

Chapter: The Blessed and Exalted is a Thing د بن الوليد رضي الله عنه، قال: حدثنا ٠د ابن الحسن الصفار، عن أح٠د بن خالد، عن النضر بن سويد، عن يحيى الحلبي، عن ابن ٠سكان، عن زرارة، قال: س٠عت أبا عبد الله عليه السلا٠يقول: إن الله تبارك وتعالى خلو ٠ن خلقه، وخلقه خلو ٠ا خلا الله عز وجل فهو ٠خلوق، والله خالق كل شئ، تبارك الذي ليس ك٠3.

Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Ahmad ibn al-Walid (RA) said: Muhammad ibn al-Hasan alSaffar, on authority of Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid, on the authority of al-Nadr ibn Suwayd, on the authority of Yahya al-Halabi, on the authority of Ibn Muskan, on the authority of Zurarah that I heard Abu `Abd Allah al-Sadiq (RA) say: “Verily, Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, is free from His Creation, and His Creation is free from Him.

Whatever can be defined by the word `thing’ is a creation other than Almighty Allah. Exalted is He who is beyond compare.”
