My father (RA) said: Sa`d ibn `Abd Allah said on the authority of al-Qasim ibn Muhammad alIsfahani, on the authority of Sulayman ibn Dawud al-Minqari, on the authority of Hafs ibn Ghiyath alNakha`I al-Qadi that I asked Abu `Abd Allah al-Sadiq (AS) about the Word of Allah, the Mighty and High: But when his Lord manifested His Glory to the mountain He made it crumble.6 He (AS) explained: âThe Mountain slipped into the ocean, and is still grieving to this date.â
